Privacy policy

1. Who we are

Veyro (veyro.bio) is a multi-creator link-in-bio service. We provide accounts, unique public handles, and delivery of those pages. This policy explains what we collect and why.

2. Information we collect

Account data. Email address, password hash, and the time you created or updated the account. We do not store passwords in plain text.

Profile data. Handle, display name, bio, avatar URL, theme colours, link labels and destinations, age-gate and geo settings, and a decoy URL if you set one.

Visitor analytics. Public pages use cookieless analytics. A view is counted only after the page is actually visible in the browser. We store a short visitor code made from a daily salt, the connection address, the browser string, and the page. The address is used in memory for that code, a coarse location, and bot checks, then dropped. We do not store raw IP addresses in the database or in logs. The salt changes at midnight UTC and the previous salt is deleted, so the code cannot be linked across days. We keep raw analytics rows for 13 months. We do not sell visitor lists.

Security signals. Hidden canary requests and similar signals may mark a visitor as automated so later link responses stay on decoys.

3. Cookies

We use a session cookie so you stay signed in. A separate visitor cookie is used only for security canaries, not for analytics. Page analytics do not use a cookie. These are first-party cookies set by Veyro. We do not run third-party advertising pixels on the marketing site or public pages as part of the core product.

4. How we use information

We use the data above to:

  • operate accounts and unique handles;
  • render public pages and first-party redirects;
  • apply the stealth, geo, and age-gate settings you choose;
  • show you workspace analytics;
  • keep the service secure and debug failures;
  • meet legal requests when we are required to.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share data with infrastructure providers that host the app and database (for example, the cloud host running veyro.bio), and with authorities if the law requires it. Destination sites you link to receive whatever a visitor's browser sends after they leave Veyro — that is outside this service.

6. Retention

Account and profile data stay until you delete the account or we close it. Raw analytics events are kept for 13 months, then deleted. The workspace still shows shorter ranges (today, 7, 30, and 90 days). Canary marks expire after a limited period.

7. Your choices

You can update profile and settings in the workspace, change your handle if the new name is free, and sign out at any time. To request deletion of an account and associated data, contact us at the address below. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, or object to certain processing.

8. Children

Veyro is not directed at children under 18. Do not create an account if you are under 18.

9. International transfers

The service may be hosted in a country different from yours. By using Veyro you understand that account and analytics data can be processed where our infrastructure lives.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top will change. Material changes should be reflected here before they apply to new collection.
